1) Who Became The First-Ever WWF Hardcore Champion (in 1998)?

Mankind became the first-ever WWF Hardcore Champion in 1998. Mr.Mahon awarded him the title. This was Mankind’s only reign as Hardcore Champion.

The Title was active from 1998 until 2002. It was defended under the 24/7 rule, which meant that the title could be defended anywhere at any time as long as a referee was present. This led to a massive amount of title changes in a short period of time. The Title changed hands 240 times in only four years.

2) Who Won The 1998 Royal Rumble Match?

Stone Cold Steve Austin won the 1998 Royal Rumble match. He last eliminated The Rock to earn a WWF World Heavyweight Championship match at WrestleMania XIV. Austin entered the match in the 24th spot. He compiled 7 eliminations throughout the match.

This was the second straight year that Austin had won the Royal Rumble. Austin would go on to win the Rumble again in 2001.

3) The WWF Women’s Championship Was Reactivated In 1998 (It was Deactivated In 1995). Who Became The First Champion?

Jacqueline won the WWF Women’s Championship in 1998 after it was reactivated. She defeated Sable to win the belt. This was the first of Jacqueline’s two Title reigns in his career.

4) Where Was Wrestlemania XIV (1998) Held?

Wrestlemania XIV was held at the FleetCenter in Boston, Massachusetts. This took place on March 29th, 1998. This was the first Wrestlemania to ever take place in Boston.

5) Who On This List Did NOT Hold The WWF Title At Some Point In 1998?

The Undertaker is the only person on the list who did not win the WWF Championship at some point in 1998. Stone Cold Steve Austin, the Rock, Kane, and Shawn Michaels all held the belt at some point during the year.

8) Who Did The Undertaker Defeat At Wrestlemania XIV (1998)
